The Truth Behind “Age Hacking”

You never dreamed about controlling your aging process or looking younger? Pass your way.

I want to share with those of you—those of us—who want to look their best. Those who don’t believe “Aging” is a synonym of “looking Old”. I want to share about “Age Hacking”.

What Is “Age Hacking”

You can live a long life, or you can thrive during a long and wonderful life.

Sure, how you age is due to your genes, but it’s also due to your lifestyle, habits and decisions.

Meaning that you can control how fast you age

Your mind is one of the most powerful tools you have for living a long and happy life. It can also help you hack your aging process. You can look, feel and live longer. And, best of all, you can enjoy it.

How Can You “Age Hack” Your Skin?

Stendhal wrote “Beauty is nothing other than the promise of happiness.”

For most people it is true. That’s why we run after our youth.

Because we think only a youthful look is worth other people’s love.

We think only a youthful look will make us happy.

I write “us” because I thought so too, for the longest time. Actually, until I saw my wife upset about her aging face, her wrinkles. That’s when I realized she aged, but I had never seen it before. Or it had never mattered before.

Seeing her that distressed encouraged me to work harder. I was never that compelled to find a solution to her anxiety. And that was finding how she could look younger.

I won’t go into too many details, you can find them in my video. I will focus on solutions.

“Age Hack” Your Skin Through Your Foods

The best you can do for your skin is to eat healthy… Nothing new, right?

By healthy, I mean you need an anti-inflammatory diet. Your diet needs to be high in fresh fruits and vegetables and low in processed foods. It will reduce inflammation in your body. And, when you reduce inflammation in your body, you reduce inflammation on your skin. That’s simple biology.

A good probiotic supplement could help too. It will reduce inflammation in your whole body and fight some skin conditions.

You also need to drink a lot of water. It will help you eliminate toxins faster and hydrate your skin. You will replenish your lines and get a nice glow. Both of which will make you look younger.

“Age Hack” Your Skin Through Your Exercise

Sweat is an excellent way to eliminate toxins, as long as you wash your face after. It’ll open your pores and let go of black heads and imperfections.

Not only that, but regular exercise, no matter what it is, will help regulate your hormones. Through your life, your hormonal balance evolves. That’s part of why teenagers have acne. That why wrinkles and eye bags appear. When you exercise, your body secretes specific hormones, like serotonin. These hormones can balance those already at work in your body. A good hormonal balance will beautify your skin. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated.

Keep it enjoyable. The happier you feel, the more you will glow.

“Age Hack” Your Skin Through Your Skin Care

There is a lot you can do or your skin to feel and look younger. Especially around your eyes.

The skin around your eyelids—called periorbital skin—is about 0.5 mm thick. As a comparison, the skin on most of the rest of your body is about 2 mm thick…

As you get older, you lose some of the fat and collagen around your eyes. With the thinning of your skin, this loss magnifies the appearance of dark eye circles and eye bags.

Dark eye circles, eye bags and crow’s feet are not a serious skin problem. But they will make you look tired, unhealthy and older.

So what can you do?

As I told you earlier, a well hydrated skin looks younger.

You can hydrate your skin from within, with the water you drink.

You can also hydrate your skin with a good moisturizer. Use a moisturizer scientifically designed for the sensitive skin around your eyes. You will repair your skin and help it stay fresh and young longer.

You also need a good sunscreen. It will slow down the aging process and wrinkle development on your face. It will also protect your skin from burns and DNA damage. The American Association of Dermatology recommends daily application of sunscreen. Even in winter or when you stay indoors:

The sun emits harmful UV rays year-round. UVA rays (or aging rays) can prematurely age your skin. They will cause wrinkles and age spots, and can pass through window glass. Even on cloudy days, up to 80 percent of the sun’s harmful UV rays can penetrate your skin.”

If you don’t use sunscreen, in a few years, you could look like that…

Jokes apart, after diet and exercise, the best way to “Age Hack” your skin is to take care of it. I won’t tell you about my products here, that was not the purpose of this paper. If you want more information, feel free to leave me a comment. I’ll be happy to help you.
